In Season

Well this weekend has been Day 10 and Day 11 of me being seasoned, or in season or whatever it is that humans call it. I'm now feeling rather tired, and all as I want is cuddles.


Mum is still acting odd, keeping us shut in different rooms, up until this weekend we were still being walked together (under strict supervision!) but now we dont even see each other, I am so missing Dexter and I hear him crying sometimes from the other room.

    ..... except you are prob right, our spoil sport mums would put a stop to it... life is most unfair.

    Redgirls are not one tiny bit fooled by your little miss innocent poor litle me demeanor.

    (Although.To be truthful. We remember being in vogue and dreaming 24/7 about boyfriends and getting married)

    Redgirls are unseasoned at the moment and are feeling very sorry for Uncle Dexter.

    Berta says Hi Uncle. Don't think I ever explained the family connection. You have a big sis Gillyvor Gauze (Castlefield Camembert/Russetmantle Dove) born in 1999. She is my mum. My dad is Sh. Ch. Benzali Shiraz. I was born in Suffolk too.

    Mum thinks that Ditto is a very lovely vizsla and should be in the show ring.

    Redgirls think that is a VERY rubbish idea. (We do NOT like to be upstaged!)

  5. ooohh makes me puff my chest out and act all proud being called Uncle Dexter :-)
    Very good to hear the family lines are doing well; mum didn’t really get to know the parents of any of the rest of my litter so I don’t know what has happened to the other 9 of us.

    Yes Ditto is very pretty ESPECIALLY at the moment, a bit of seasoning brings out the best in her if you know what I mean... ooops Mum is telling me off for lowering the tone. I seem to have to be on my best behaviour at ALL times at the moment!

  6. Hello Red girls, sorry yes I know, not behaving like a lady here at all, it’s my favourite position though and I LOVE getting my tummy tickled.

    I am beginning to realise I really am rather pretty, humans always seem to think I am very sweet and cuddly also, it certainly helps I think to get you out of trouble if heaven forbid I have been naughty AND it gets me loads more cuddles, I love being carried like a baby on my back :-)

    I've also been sneaking a look into these so called fashion magazines, think I might have to hit the shops and get some new outfits (very jealous of Charlie's wardrobe), I can just see myself dancing down the catwalk...... now there’s a thought... I wonder if it’s called that cus there is a cat at the end of it :-) Modelling world here I come!!

    Ditto. We meant not to like you. On account of your prettiness. (As described in the OED and not as presently defined by lovely Uncle Dexter)Redgirls do not like competition. But we have changed our minds. Hey! Shopping. Clothes. Catwalks.Lunch. A girlie mate. Yey!

    BTW Ditto do you know that you have 2 littermates who are being shown and are doing really well .. Roughshoot Aphrodisiac particularly so. (But don't tell Uncle Dexter cos pretty + that Aphy word sounds a bit more than he could handle at the mo)

  8. Ooooohhh girls that lunch, I like the sound of that, well I like the sound of anything that might mean food, yes I know us Vizzie girls are not always the best of eaters however I am quite a little piggy, well according to Mum that is.

    Yes I had heard that some of my sisters were doing really well in the show ring, I did mention to Dexter that Roughshoot Aphrodisiac was doing really well and it didnt seem to have much of an effect on him, in fact he seems to have stopped looking at me with a glazed expression on his face, he has stopped crying also so perhaps he is feeling normal again now :-)
