I can never quite work out why for part of the year the lights get turned off early and all is dark and at other times the lights stay on... all rather baffling really, but I do like this time of year, lots of light means we get lovely long walks, lots of rabbits and hares to chase at this time of year too!
Plus in the daytime whilst Mum is working we can laze out on the lawn. Looking good on camera is always important and coordination always helps, here you can see myself and Dexter doing a very coordinated sleep on the lawn...

But sometimes its nice to have the whole bed to myself also :)

Bliss.....

As you saw from our last post we had a great time recently in the New Forest, our human friend Nicky sent us this photo
Here you can see Dexter and I are doing perfect synchronized flying ears, not quite sure what Mum was doing getting in the way and standing in horse poo.. really.. on camera also, now I'm very partial to rolling in fox poo (delectable perfume) but I wouldn't dream of doing it on camera! Its one of those pleasures in life where I have learnt its best not to get caught in the act, although it generally ends up with a shower when I get home as for some reason Mum doesn't seem to appreciate the wonderful smell, humans eh?! No sense of smell at all!

I have two vizslas too (Marvin & Carly), and they do love the sun, like yours... I actually looked at your blog when we were thinking of getting them, and having started blogging, came across you again.
ReplyDeleteHow old are Marvin & Carly now? Its so nice to have two of them isn't it, my two interact all the time.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a link to their blog?
Yep it is great having two and they are on my blog (I will put up labels and you will see them under Dexter and the dogs (Dexter is my son's name!). They are pretty much mentioned in most days, April is when I started blogging and there are some great ones of them there, and most recently you will see them in May (tea for two, portobello beach, camping....) My blog is rmontalban@blogspace.com
ReplyDeleteThey will be 1 this year, brother and sister from the same litter and they are so well socialised - they go on a wednesday to Dogmore (a doggy daycare type set up) and hang around in a huge pack of dogs and it has been fantastic for them. Will take photos of them next Wednesday being returned from there which in itself is rather nice. Hope you like the blog, I don't have a separate one for them, mainly because they are mentioned in most of the blogs I do especially when it is related to outdoor stuff.
I have put labels now on my blog, so you will see all the posts about them.
ReplyDeleteLove the coordinated vizzie pictures...Radar & Rio don't sleep together much at the moment - Rio just wants to play!!
ReplyDeleteThey are too cute together :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photo .... my 2 are good at 'formation' sleeping s well.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, just sums up how Vizzies love to be, nothing better than snuggled close.
ReplyDeleteHaha on the horse poo, I hadn't spotted that, well there was a lot of it around....
Nicky
Hi Nicky, thanks again for sending the pic...
ReplyDeleteYes they do love to snuggle up close to each other, they would really miss each other if ever apart.
